Hi there! My name is Jeff Birmingham, and I started CruiseJournals in 2005 as a personal journal while I worked on cruise ships as a videographer. The site got popular, and people started joining! I've been running this as a hobby since then, and have really enjoyed all the people who've stopped by to share their love of ships. I really love seeing all the photos, stories and posts about our adventures on the open seas!
I'm back in Victoria, working at a regular job, but I still miss ship life and this site is a tribute to those days.
